United Airlines is reportedly developing a new class of seating, which is said to be a business class inside the existing business class.
When booking airfare for the Polaris line of seating, United customers will be given the option to upgrade to the premium economy. Above the amenities already included are suites with doors and push-button champagne service.
Other amenities being considered include more spacious seats, private check-in, and priority for sit-down dining at the Polaris airport lounges. The new seating class could elevate United to be on par with its rivals, Delta and American.
There might be some
opposition to that champagne button, however.
