Vietjet Air, a low-cost airline based in Vietnam, has launched direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne, Australia. The airline will operate three weekly round trips on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:55am and arriving in Melbourne at 22:35pm. The return flights from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City will depart on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with expected arrival time of 6:30am in Ho Chi Minh City. The flights will be operated using the wide-bodied Airbus A330 aircraft, with a range of products, services, and utilities offered exclusively for customers. Passengers can search for the latest promotions on Vietjet Air’s website, mobile app, and loyalty programme. The inaugural flight was greeted with a traditional water cannon ceremony and Vietjet Air’s Vice President To Viet Thang presented souvenirs to the first passengers on the flight.
