Vistara, a relatively new airline in India, has begun to compete on long-haul routes against established flag carriers Air India and Air France. Simple Flying recently reviewed Vistara’s business class service from New Delhi to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, finding that the airline’s youngest fleet and increasing demand for its services make it a strong contender. The review covers the check-in process, lounge facilities, boarding and in-flight experience. Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft offers a 1-2-1 configuration in business class, with fully-flat seats and a range of in-flight entertainment options. Passengers are served a full meal and snacks during the flight, and those requiring Wi-Fi can pay a reasonable price for a voucher. Despite Vistara’s relative newness compared to other airlines, the review found that the experience was enjoyable and comfortable.
