Indian airlines Vistara and Air India are preparing to merge, with Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines having announced their intention to fold Vistara into Air India in November 2022. Vistara has reassured members of its loyalty programme that nothing will change after the merger, with its Club Vistara programme remaining unaltered. The airlines will continue to operate with their own distinct codes and air operating certificates for a time while ensuring the integration of people, fleets, systems and networks. Following the integration, the two airlines will at some point offer a loyalty programme interchange, allowing customers to move between points.
