Amid flight cancellations due to the unavailability of the crew, senior officials of Vistara on Wednesday met with pilots to discuss rostering issues and new contracts, according to sources.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the Tata Group airline canceled approximately 26 flights on Wednesday.

Virtual meeting with pilots
According to sources, CEO Vinod Kannan and other top officials of Vistara held a virtual meeting with pilots to address their concerns.
Human resources officials and representatives from other departments also participated in the meeting.
Vistara has not issued an official statement regarding the meeting with the pilots.
Sources mentioned that flight operations are gradually returning to normal, with a decrease in the number of flight cancellations.
The airline officials have assured the pilots that issues related to rostering and stretched working hours will be sorted out by May, the sources said. They also mentioned that the arisen situation was primarily due to higher utilisation of the available pool of pilots.
Vistara boasts approximately 1,000 pilots, with around 200 undergoing various stages of training.
