Avolon, the aircraft leasing company, has completed the delivery of 15 A320neo planes to Indian airline Vistara. The company also announced a commitment to ordering 40 Boeing 737 Max planes, scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2030. The orders are set to increase its overall owned, managed and committed fleet to 870, and offer confidence in the aviation market’s post-Covid positive momentum. “This commitment will also support our airline customers who are looking to plan… and prepare for future growth, while also reducing their carbon emissions,” said CEO Andy Cronin.
