India’s full-service carrier Vistara, owned by the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, plans to add a direct Mumbai to London service using a new Boeing Dreamliner with a three-class configuration. Flights take off from 1 June 2023, with direct, five-times weekly flights between Mumbai and London. Vistara currently operates a fleet of 59 aircraft and has been recognised for its world-class cabin cleanliness and high safety standards. News of Vistara’s expansion into London Heathrow follows the ongoing airline merger moves by parent company Tata Group. India’s Tata Group, which own four major airlines, is currently undergoing a major overhaul and merger which will see the emergence of one full-service carrier and one low-cost carrier. It’s anticipated this merger will be complete by 2024.
