Indian airline Vistara has reassured members of its loyalty programme, Club Vistara, that their benefits will remain unchanged for now, following the announcement of the airline’s merger with Air India. The fate of Club Vistara’s popular programme has been a concern for frequent flyers, and while it remains unclear how the two programmes will integrate, it is likely that both Vistara and Air India members will be able to use their points until a new loyalty programme is created. Air India CEO Campbell Wilson has suggested that a rebranded, completely new loyalty programme could be created that would integrate the miles collected by Club Vistara members.
