Indian carrier Vistara has announced it will begin flying directly from Mumbai to Mauritius from 3 December 2021. The new route will operate twice a week on Fridays and Sundays and will use the Airbus A321neo aircraft. The airline’s CEO, Leslie Thng, said the flight would provide “a convenient and seamless travel experience to our customers to this beautiful island nation.” Vistara is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines and serves destinations within India as well as international destinations in Asia and the Middle East. The airline has been expanding its routes in recent years, including adding flights to the Maldives and Doha earlier this year.
