Hungarian airline Wizz Air is set to launch season tickets for select flights as part of a subscription service named MultiPass. The first flights that will support MultiPass will travel to and from Poland and within Italy, however, it is not clear when the service will be launched or how much it will cost. After paying a fixed monthly fee, subscribers will receive tokens that can be redeemed for specific flights, with no need to pay for anything beyond the fixed fare. However, Priority and/or 20 kilo dispatched parcel charges can be added on as an extra. This is a rare service in the air travel industry, with only a few airlines, such as US-based Alaska Airlines, offering quite a similar service last year.
