Etihad Airways recently made its inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Bali on June 25. Welcomed at Denpasar airport with a water cannon salute, the new service operates four times a week using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner equipped with 28 Business Studios and 262 Economy Smart seats.
Meanwhile, Jetstar Asia has begun its services between Singapore and Broome, Western Australia, becoming the sole airline to operate international flights into that region. The new route offers direct access for residents from Australia’s North West to Singapore. Using an Airbus A320 during the dry season, the bi-weekly return services will offer around 13,000 low fare seats per year between Singapore and Broome, set to restart in April 2025.
