A fully vaccinated American musician is facing a constrained Kiwi life of being unable to work, travel or even visit a café after the vaccine pass system was unable to recognise his doses.
Esteemed French horn player Geoffrey Pilkington came to New Zealand with his family having already had his Johnson & Johnson shot in March, a single shot vaccine.
Despite having also had a Pfizer booster shot in New Zealand a few days ago, he has been unable to sign up for My Vaccine Pass.
The website only accepts New Zealand or Australian documentation and Pilkington said the current system requires healthcare workers to input two jabs to complete vaccine pass requirements.
