Washington — Two of the largest travel booking software providers are cutting ties with Russian airline Aeroflot over Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
US-based Sabre said it had terminated its distribution agreement with Aeroflot and would immediately remove Aeroflot flight content from its global distribution system used across the world.
“We are taking a stand against this military conflict. We are complying, and will continue to comply, with sanctions imposed against Russia,” chief executive Sean Menke said in a statement.
The company would not rule out further action in response to the ongoing situation, Menke said.
