Accor has chosen technology brand D-Edge Hospitality Solutions, which it owns, to provide its central reservation system.
D-Edge was formed by Accor in 2019 by merging two hotel technology companies Fastbooking and Availpro, which were acquired by the hotel giant in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
France-based Accor originally announced a partnership with Sabre which would see the development of a property management and reservations system in early 2020.
However, the pair parted ways as the pandemic hit and, a year later, Accor said it had not “reengaged” with Sabre on the partnership.
