Southwest Airlines again has made new features available in its Southwest Business Assist portal for corporation customers, which it launched last August and updated in January, the carrier announced Monday.
The enhancements include automated self-enrollment for UATP, the ability to convert unused funds on a global distribution system ticket to UATP in addition to converting Southwest flight credits, and automated name changes via partner benefits.
Portal users also now can see details about their top travelers with Southwest, top routes they fly, and their current Rapid Rewards tier status and expiration date. These features were some of the most requested items from corporate customers, according to Southwest.
The carrier also has made it easier to purchase sustainable aviation fuel and carbon offsets via an integration with its partner Chooose, which will be alongside the sustainability and emissions dashboard.
Additional new functions include loyalty reporting for customers enrolled in Rapid Rewards Business and the ability to request access to Southwest Business TravelTrack, the carrier’s new “near real-time, event-based application” for tracking ticket changes, exchanges, refunds and more using the One Order schema.
