About the role
The role is responsible for the administration of the CASA Travel and Credit Card program. The incumbent will be working as a member of a team that supports the operational areas in a range of travel and credit card related needs and issues.
This will include supporting the Travel Coordinator in delivering training and guidance on CASA’s travel and credit card policy and procedures to CASA employees and providing support in the administration of CASA’s travel and credit card functions. Under general direction, the incumbent will liaise with external travel providers, administer requests for travel and credit card services, respond to requests for information and provide travel and credit card information support to CASA staff.
As a key member of a small team, the role requires interaction across all of CASA’s business areas.
This position is Canberra based, however may require interstate travel. On a need’s basis, the position may require flexible working hours for time zone coverage.
The Travel Advisor is responsible for the following deliverables, which represent an ongoing body of work:
- Assisting the Travel Coordinator in the administration of CASA’s travel systems and supporting the team by training and coaching junior team members.
- Working collaboratively within a team environment with a strong customer service focus.
- Providing appropriate advice and reporting as requested to operational areas on travel expenditure.
- Arranging travel bookings, making travel allowance calculations, preparing itineraries, and reconciling travel card expenditure in accordance with policies and procedures for both domestic and international travel requests.
