New Zealand based travel teach firm Serko Limited is acquiring business travel management solution GetThere from Sabre.
It is part of a new partnership between the two companies.
They have inked a partnership that includes travel management development and investment cooperation.
The deal sees Serko take full ownership of GetThere.
Serko gets the GetThere brand and IP, team expertise, and its global customer base.
It will be continue to be operated under the GetThere brand name.
“Our partnership with Sabre marks a significant step in Serko’s evolution,” said Darrin Grafton, CEO and co-founder of Serko.
He said the acquisition will complement its existing North America operations.
“Additional investments in our products and technology will support our momentum in North America and globally, benefitting partners and customers.”
