ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – You’ve seen it on the screen, and now you can see it in person: one of “Stranger Things’” most iconic setpieces can now be rented out as an Airbnb.
Most of the series was filmed in Atlanta — including exterior shots of the Byers’ family home, which is a real house in Fayetteville. Over the course of two years, dozens of artists in the entertainment, construction and design industries collaborated to fully renovate the house, making it resemble the home in the Netflix series.
Renters can interact with the iconic alphabet Christmas light wall, explore replicas of Will and Jonathan’s bedrooms and enjoy a game room with bunk beds that looks like it was snatched from the Upside Down. The home is also accurate to the ‘80s, with a CRT TV and VCR player in the living room, a vinyl player and Amiga 500 in Jonathan’s room and magazines and books from the ‘80s scattered around.
