Family travel represents 20% of all nights booked on Airbnb, growing by 15% compared to 2023. A survey from Airbnb said that 81% of families prioritise location, while 79% said value was the most important factor.
Multigenerational family travel grew by 35% during the first half of this year, where older adults booked stays with children or grandchildren. The most popular destinations for multigenerational travel by such families were coastal locations.
