Hotel technology provider, Thynk, has raised $13m in a Series A funding round led by Singular with participation from Belgium-based CNP, Fly Ventures and a New York-based fund. The funds will be used to support research and development, expand into Europe, the US and the Middle East and create data-driven tools and customer-centric revenue operating solutions. Thynk has enjoyed success with hotel groups such as Mint House, Groupe Lucien Barriere, Postillion and Rotana. Many investors are showing confidence in the hospitality technology sector, with Lucile Cornet, partner in Eight Roads, citing a “much more positive” environment and Thayer Ventures’ managing director Chris Hemmeter talking about startups that can deliver high-value services through zero integration APIs.
