The Hotel Show, the Middle East’s longest-running and most influential hospitality trade show, will take place from 23 to 25 May, and will play host to major hospitality firms interested in the growing market. Germany, France and Italy will host national pavilions, with upwards of 13,000 visitors expected to attend. The event is growing in popularity, as the US information services company, Lodging Econometrics, has forecast 123 new hotel openings with 30,113 rooms opening in the region this year, with Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt being main investor choices. Turkey’s Kutahya Porselen, Italian firm Abert, German company Karcher and the UAE’s Danube Hospitality and Naffco are among the line-up.
