A new report from Amadeus, Traveler Tribes 2033, uses psychographic surveys of 10,000 travellers across 15 markets to identify four new groups who will emerge over the next decade – Excited Experientialists, Pioneering Pathfinders, Travel Tech-fluencers, and Memory Makers. The research indicates that many future travellers will be open to new and sustainable technologies so there is an opportunity for hotels to take note and prepare for the guest of the future. The report highlights the importance of personalization and innovation across the hospitality spectrum, and suggests that hoteliers need an open, connected ecosystem and collaboration from technology providers to ensure they have the right tools and data to effectively manage their businesses.
