DirectTV Hospitality and Aimbridge Hospitality have announced a new partnership that will improve the in-room guest experience. Aimbridge manages over 170,000 rooms in the US, covering many hotel brands and independent properties. The collaboration sees the first agreement between DirectTV and a major hotel management company, and will enhance how US travellers consume content in their hotel rooms. Aimbridge gains the chance to extend DirectTV benefits to its owners, including access to DirectTV Hospitality’s Advanced Entertainment Platform. DirectTV Hospitality will have the opportunity to show sport programming and other content in hotel lounges, bars, and restaurants in Aimbridge-managed properties that choose DirectTV service.
