Online travel company MakeMyTrip has partnered with the tourism ministry to promote over 600 destinations in India through its microsite, “Traveller’s Map of India”. The interactive platform aims to help travelers explore lesser-known destinations in the country, in line with the government’s DekhoApnaDesh initiative. Meanwhile, construction player Om Infra reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 16 crore ($2.14 million) for Q1 of the fiscal year, more than double the previous year’s figure. The company’s revenue from operations also saw a significant increase, reaching Rs 262.71 crore ($35.31 million) compared to Rs 116.85 crore ($15.73 million) in the same quarter last year. Om Infra specializes in hydro mechanical equipment, infra engineering solutions, and infrastructure projects like water pipe lines and civil structures of dams.
