In a recent verdict that underscores the responsibility of travel companies towards their customers, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) has ruled in favor of a consumer who reported mishandling of his travel arrangements by prominent travel company, MakeMyTrip (MMT). 75-year-old Devraj Beharnani had booked a travel package worth Rs 4.5 lakh with MMT in 2012.
