Google Cloud has announced a new set of security partnerships to enhance choice, capability and simplicity for enterprise and public sector IT. In a move to promote secure hybrid work at an enterprise scale, Google Workspace is now integrated with identity and device management solutions from Okta and VMware. Additionally, JumpCloud is now integrated with Google Workspace to provide enterprise-level security capabilities to smaller organizations. Google Cloud has also introduced a new Security Command Center connector for GitHub Enterprise, allowing customers to automate security policy enforcement and to monitor for policy violations. The company has also added two new third-party partners, Capsule8 and StackRox, to its Anthos Security Extended Ecosystem, enabling customers to detect threats across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Google Cloud’s security alliances will enable its clients to address their security challenges with the help of expertise and capability from its technology partners.
