Locals have been left in stitches after a hole in a wall at a NatWest cashpoint retained the top spot on their town’s TripAdvisor.
The iconic landmark was first reviewed on the website as a joke, but has now raked in 143 reviews with the majority giving it five stars.
Dubbed ‘The Natwest Hole’, it is simply a large hole adjacent to an ATM machine on the front of the bank in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
It has been granted the number one spot in the ‘Ten best things to do in Ilkeston.’
The Natwest hole even beat the Erewash museum, the Ilkeston War Memorial and scenic parks and is listed as ‘Points of interest and landmarks.’
