UK Leisure airline TUI Airways is returning to Southampton Airport next summer with a weekly flight to Palma De Mallorca. This will be the first time in 15 years that the airline has served Southampton, with the announcement coming just over a year after the airport completed a runway extension.

TUI will begin its new service to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), also known as Son Sant Joan Airport, next summer. The flights are scheduled to operate every Tuesday from May 27th to September 20th, 2025.

The new weekly flight will offer a link between the South of England and Mallorca’s sandy beaches, cultural hot spots, and sunshine. TUI UK’s Director of Aviation Planning Karen Switzer expressed her excitement for the airline to return to Southampton after its long absence:
