The World Tourism Network Bangladesh Chapter recently hosted its second Iftar Party, a traditional breaking of the fast observed during the holy month of Ramadan. The event brought together local tourism leaders to discuss the future of tourism in Bangladesh, with guests including high-ranking representatives from the Bangladesh Tourism Ministry and the public sector. WTN Bangladesh Chapter Chairman H.M. Hakim Ali highlighted the challenges faced by the tourism sector due to the COVID-19 pandemic and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector to create a favorable environment for tourism in the country. The World Tourism Network works to support small and medium-sized tourism businesses globally, with membership open to all travel and tourism professionals.
