The famed Angkor Archaeological Park, considered as most attractive tourism landscape in Cambodia, received 472,258 foreign tourists in the first five months of this year.
This reveals a year-on-year increase of nearly 37%, according to a report from Angkor Enterprise which oversees the Angkor entrance pass sales. The revenue generated from the entrance pass sales rose by 38.2% to US$22.2Â million, said the report released on June 1.
In May alone, the enterprise earned a total income of US$2.28Â million from 50,879 foreign tourists visiting the park. The entrance fee for a one-day visit to the park is US$37, a three-day visit costs US$62, and a week-long visit US$72.
