Hong Kong and Macau have signed an agreement to strengthen tourism cooperation with the island province of Hainan.
The agreement aims to generate mutual benefits through brand building, shared resources, marketing efforts, and talent exchange.
According to local media, a key collaboration involves a network of multi-stop routes connecting the three regions, forming what authorities term the “Golden Tourism Triangle.”
The partnership will leverage existing policies, including Hainan’s visa-free entry arrangements for travellers from 77 countries.
