(MENAFN) Shohrat Zakir, chairman of the regional administration said that northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will enhance more its tourism sector.
Shohrat Zakir stated in an administration work report introduced to the regional legislature’s yearly session on Monday that Xinjiang will attempt to draw over 200 million tourists this year, and aspires to welcome over 400 million local and foreign tourists in 2025.
Xinjiang received over 158 million tourists last year in spite of the effect of coronavirus.
