(MENAFN)Shohrat Zakir, chairman of the regional government stated that Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous area will further boost its tourism sector.
Xinjiang will try to draw more than 200 million travelers in 2021, and plans to get more than 400 million local and international tourists in 2025, Shohrat Zakir stated in a government work report showed to the regional legislature’s yearly session on Monday, February 1.
Xinjiang greeted more than 158 million travelers in 2020 in spite of the effect of coronavirus.
