China’s first panda-themed tourist train left Chengdu Railway Station in Sichuan’s provincial capital for Zunyi in neighboring Guizhou province on Sunday night.
Its interior and exterior are decorated with giant panda images, attendants carry panda toys and passengers can even try panda-shaped food.
The three-day trip costs 1,280 yuan ($196), including food, accommodation and entrance tickets to scenic spots in Guizhou, Zhu Linlin, an information officer with China Railway Chengdu Group, said.
