1st November 2024 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong welcomed nearly 32.6 million visitor arrivals in the first three quarters of this year, reflecting a significant year-on-year increase of approximately 40 per cent, according to data released by the Hong Kong Tourism Board on Thursday.
Of the total arrivals, over 25.2 million were from the Chinese mainland, marking a rise of around 35 per cent compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, arrivals from other regions surged by 59 per cent, indicating a robust recovery in international tourism.
