To improve air connectivity, 12 new terminal buildings have been unveiled at major airports. They include Kolhapur, Pune, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Lucknow, Delhi, Aligarh, Chitrakoot, Adampur, Shravasti, Azamgarh, and Moradabad airports. In addition, the foundation stone was laid for three new airport terminals at Hubballi, Kadapa, and Belagavi, welcoming a new era of modern aviation facilities.
This initiative shows the government’s commitment to ensuring growth and accessibility in India’s aviation sector. These new terminals, planned to improve the passenger experience and meet the increasing requirement for air travel, are expected to service nearly 620 lakh tourists every year.
