Kathmandu, Oct 28: Speakers at a programme have observed that demise of a tourism entrepreneur Bashanta Raj Mishra is a huge dent to Nepal’s tourism sector.
At a condolence gathering organized by the Nepal Chapter of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) here today, tourism field lost a veteran figure.
Former tourism secretary of Nepal government, Deependra Purush Dhakal, reminded the late Mishra’s unparallel role in bringing in foreign tourists in Nepal and making the country known to the world. “There is sheer void now with demise of Mishra,” he said, adding that it would be a great tribute to him once his vision and practice were followed by the present generation.
