Nepal has seen an increase in tourism this year, with many tourists arriving to climb various mountains. Mingmar Sherpa, a tourism businessman who brings tourists from Europe, believes that Nepal should take advantage of this opportunity and provide more facilities to make tourists happy, which will attract more visitors. Sherpa is also involved in various social organizations and has helped build a school building and a monastery building in Solukhumbu, Nepal. He believes that the government should support the education and livelihood of the families of Nepali climbers who died in the mountains. Sherpa has a long history in the tourism industry, having worked as a porter, kitchen boy, cook, expedition and trekking guide. He is currently running Boss Adventure Pvt Ltd for treks and expeditions and has climbed many mountains, including Everest, Choyu, Manaslu, and Makalu.
