The government of Nepal is preparing to bring a new Tourism Act that revises several issues of the existing Act. Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati shared that the new act will be contextual and relevant for the current times. To solicit feedback, he plans to visit Pokhara city and meet with hoteliers and tourism business members. Additionally, the ministry plans to publicize Nepal’s tourism products in the international market with new themes, and Pokhara’s nature and cultures will undergo branding for promotion in the international market to earn foreign currencies. Finally, Kirati urged tourism entrepreneurs to provide quality services.
