As spring is on Asia’s largest Tulip garden in Jammu & Kashmir’s Srinagar has also opened for the public and tourists.
The Tulip Garden features lakhs of tulips in different colours. Reportedly the Tulip Garden will see 15 lakh flowers of more than 64 varieties of tulips this season.
Soon there will be a Tulip festival in the valley.
While last year in March 2020, when the floriculture department of J&K was preparing the garden to open for the visitors, the country-wide lockdown was announced by the Union government.
However, this year, in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, proper measures have been taken by the government of Jammu and Kashmir.
