Pakistan and Ethiopia Forge New Paths in Tourism and Educational Cooperation
In a significant move towards bolstering bilateral relations, Pakistan and Ethiopia have committed to deepen their ties through promoting tourist exchanges and enhancing cooperation in medicine and agricultural education. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union, Atif Sharif, and the City Mayor of Aksum, in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.
Exploring Potential City Twinning and Tourist Exchanges
The two officials delved into the potential of twinning Aksum City with a city in Pakistan to facilitate tourist exchanges. This initiative aims to foster mutual understanding and appreciation of each other’s culture, heritage, and lifestyle among the citizens of the two countries. It also represents a significant step towards strengthening the diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
