Desperate passengers raged over chaotic scenes at a Pakistan airport as thousands of travellers rushed to beat latest UK travel quarantine regulations.
Several travellers claimed they had missed flights because of the carnage at Islamabad Airport in the Pakistan capital with one Midlander branding queues as the “worst experience ever.”
Others slammed a lack of information and organisation during the stampede back to the UK.
Extra flights had been laid on from Pakistan to several UK hubs, including Birmingham Airport, in the race to beat the 4am Friday deadline.
