People gather for the third raffle draw of Shop Qatar 2024 at Vendôme on Friday.
Doha, Qatar: On January 19, Qatar Tourism held the third raffle draw for Shop Qatar 2024 at Place Vendôme. Seven fortunate winners were awarded cash prizes starting from QR10,000, while one lucky winner received a LandRover Defender.
The draw is the third of four draws taking place as part of Shop Qatar this year.
For every QR200 spent, shoppers are eligible to enter a draw, and have a chance to win a set of grand and valuable prizes.
This year’s festival also features redemption booths across the country’s shopping districts, where visitors can redeem invoices, win vouchers, enjoy unique gaming experiences, and photobooth activations.
The seven lucky winners of the third raffle draw are: Rania Ali who won a LandRover Defender; Afshad Riyadh received QR50,000; Hanan Jassimam and Rupal Shah, each received QR20,000; and Huda Salman Jabir, Menna Mohamed, and Rim Monajed, each received QR10,000.
The second raffle draw took place last week on January 12 at Msheireb Galleria, with seven lucky winners taking home cash prizes and a luxury car.
Earlier this month, Place Vendôme witnessed the Grand Opening ceremony of Shop Qatar 2024, with a performance by the popular regional band, Rouh Al Sharq, and a surprise performance by the artist Hamoud Al Khudher who performed a song dedicated to the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
The upcoming and final raffle draw will take place on January 27 at Doha Festival City where participants could potentially walk away with incredible prizes. Shop Qatar this year sees the participation of 13 of the country’s most popular shopping malls and shopping districts: Place Vendôme, Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, Hyatt Plaza, City Center Mall, Landmark Mall, Tawar Mall, Al Hazm Mall, Msheireb Galleria, Gulf Mall, Al Khor Mall, Lagoona Mall, and UDC, The Pearl-Qatar.
