Miral has said it will carry out a 16,900 sqm expansion of Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi.
The expansion will see 3.3 kilometres of slide sections added to the themed waterpark.
The project is expected to grow guest capacity by 20 per cent with the addition of 18 new rides and attractions, bringing the number of total rides in the park to 60.
This ride features a 15-metre-high drop for up to 20 guests and water park fans.
Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, group CEO commented: “This expansion marks another addition to our world-class attractions and experiences on Yas Island, and a testament to achieving our vision of positioning it as a top global destination for entertainment and leisure.”

The expansion will complement the park’s present architectural style, and construction is expected to be completed in 2025.
