A significant increase in Turkish visitors is expected on Rhodes this summer, according to an announcement by the Rhodes Hotel Association.
The association expects the number of Turkish arrivals to double compared to 2024 and have initiated discussions with the president of the Southern Dodecanese Port Fund to assess the port’s preparedness for the surge in tourism.
According to the association, the expected rise in Turkish travelers is largely driven by the Greek government’s recent decision to ease visa requirements for select Greek islands, a move that has already spurred increased tourism from Turkey.
