Breeze Airways announced Wednesday that it would expand to Westchester County Airport with eight routes launching in the summer and fall, establishing nonstop service from the startup airline’s New York hub to the west coast.
Breeze’s expansion to Westchester will include daily, nonstop flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Charleston, S.C.; nonstop flights several days per week to Jacksonville, Fla., Norfolk, Va., and Savannah, Ga.; and one-stop, same-plane service several days to New Orleans.
Also Wednesday, Breeze announced nonstop service between Windsor Locks-based Bradley International Airport and Las Vegas, starting Sept. 7.
Current commercial air service from Westchester, which stands just across the state line from Greenwich, extends only as far west as Chicago.
