India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) awarded an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to Akasa Air on Thursday. After years of preparation behind the scenes, hundreds of recruitment drives, and finally getting its first MAX plane a few weeks ago, the Indian startup airline finally got the final go-ahead to start commercial operations.
