Buy now, pay later options for consumers continue to grow. Nascent airline Breeze Airways will offer Uplift Inc.’s BNPL option to its travelers and Mastercard Inc. announced several more retailers joined its Mastercard Installments program.
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Uplift said it is the exclusive BNPL option for Breeze flights. The service is integrated into the Breeze Web site and its apps.
Travelers can view how upgrades might affect their costs and its impact on their monthly BNPL installments. Uplift said travelers see the total cost of the trip upfront, along with the monthly payment amount, and can choose from three, six, or 11 monthly payments. Uplift says it works with more than 200 airlines, cruise lines, resorts, and other travel providers.
