JR Technologies and IAG Loyalty have partnered to offer a new multi-product loyalty booking solution for the airline industry. The solution, implemented through JR Technologies’ Aerostream platform, allows travelers and members to earn and redeem Avios loyalty points on flights, hotels, and ancillary products all within the same transaction. It also offers the option to pay with cash, Avios currency, or a combination of both. The partnership has resulted in a streamlined and fast checkout experience for travelers, enhancing the booking experience and increasing engagement. The new solution has already been implemented with Aer Lingus and British Airways, resulting in a 31% increase in volume and a 40% year-on-year revenue increase on bookings made through the IAG Loyalty platform. The success of the partnership demonstrates the power of modern airline retailing and the ability to achieve quick wins and immediate revenue uplift through a modular approach to updating retailing processes.
