Airlines retail company JR Technologies has launched a new platform called Aerostream, which aims to modernise airline distribution and retailing strategies. The platform features a multi-product shopping cart that allows travellers to purchase and manage their entire trip in one place. It is one of the first travel retailing platforms to offer this functionality. Aerostream is specifically designed for the airline and travel industries and includes modules such as Offer and Order Management based on NDC and ONE Order principles, an Ancillaries Manager for merchandising and distributing travel products, a white-label customer support portal, and a management portal for configuring business rules and analysing performance. This platform aims to create new revenue streams, reduce costs, and deliver a modern digital retailing experience to customers, driving increased sales and greater customer loyalty. Aerostream also aims to make it easier for loyalty programme members to collect and redeem points, helping airlines reduce points liability through increased redemption activity. The goal of Aerostream is to push the boundaries of what is possible in the airline industry and shape the future of passenger experience and airline operations.
